Fear less, hope more; eat less, chew more; whine less, breathe more; talk less, say more; hate less, love more; and all good things are yours.

AA/NA and 12-Step Programs

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a worldwide organization that was started in 1935. AA holds free, open meetings throughout the day and evening, seven days per week, to help people who want to stop being controlled by compulsive disorders. While the focus drug of AA is alcohol, the meetings are open, and helpful, to those with other substance use disorders including family members.

Sister organizations to AA include Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA),  Gamblers Anonymous, Pills Anonymous, Marijuana Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Emotions Anonymous, and more. The groups are similar, although the specific focus may differ.
